If the beach bores you, don't worry. There's plenty to do here at the private beach-restaurant, Hi Beach on the eastern end of Forum beach . Affiliated with the design hotel Hi Hotel Eco Spa this is a most unusual concept for a beach as the space is divided into three parts. There's a family space, a relaxed space with chill music, and a lively up-tempo "energy" space set up for socializing.
With sand slides for kids, snorkelling rental, wifi everywhere, a giant TV screen with sports channels, free computers, magazines plus massage and kickboxing, Hi Beach is as much a leisure center as a beach experience. Note that lounge chairs are of canvas except for the higher-priced mattress area.
The Gambetta/Promenade bus stop is on the Promenade across from the Hi Beach entrance. You'll find buses 8, 11, 52, 59, 60, 70, 94, 98, 200, 230, 400, 500.
Address: 47 Promenade des Anglais
